Dear Friend
We are extremely fortunate to have such excellent community facilities in Ripon. Our small hospital and community staff work hard to provide excellent care across all aspects of health provision.
Ripon Community Hospital provides Emergency Treatment, In-Patient beds, Minor Injuries Unit, Palliative Care, Physiotherapy, X-Ray and a large number of Out-Patient Clinics.
The hospital is also a hub for different Health Care teams including District Nurses and Community Health Staff.

What we do…
Over the past 75 years, The Friends of Ripon Hospital has improved patient care by the provision of equipment and services that could not have been obtained through NHS funding.
Monies are raised locally by fundraising, donations, annual membership, legacies and In Memoriam.
All requests from the healthcare professionals are conscientiously considered by the committee and, when larger sums of money are involved, advice is obtained from the Trust in order to identify and ensure the necessity of the request. We then authorise jointly the purchase of items, however small or large, to deliver maximum benefit for patients and staff.
